This video contest from Wal-mart offers you the chance to win money* while telling others how to save money. Maybe you’re the frugal queen of your grocery store? Or do you have a monthly menu plan that doesn’t bust your budget? How about sharing how to save money during holiday occasions? Start working on your ideas now and be ready to submit them on October 3rd.

I’m really glad that Walmart announced this ahead of opening the contest for submissions, because that gives us plenty of time to think of ideas for videos. The end of the contest is November 14th and the winning video tips will be announced on December 17th.
 The official contest rules aren’t on their site yet, but will be announced when the contest formally opens. This post will be updated as soon as they offer more information, but in the meantime, you can also check out other money saving tips at the Wal-Mart YouTube channel.

*The winning prize is a $6000 Wal-mart gift card, which is as good as cash, in my opinion.
