Even though I love my Flip Ultra Camcorder, I can’t use it to make a submission in this video contest. No worries though, because the SanDisk Point & Shoot Film Festival wants the contestants to use any type of regular point-and-shoot camera to make their entry. As a matter of fact, the rules clearly say, “No camcorders allowed.”

Your video has to be two minutes or less, in one continuous shot, without edits. and the theme of the contest is Life Moves. They’ll select the best entries in five categories: great Kid Moves, Pet Moves, Dance Moves, Action Moves and Comedy Moves. The best video entrant in each category will be awarded $1,000 and the overall grand prize for the best video will receive $10,000 (including the $1,000 category prize) and a trip to Las Vegas. The top 200 entrants to the contest will receive a SanDisk Ultra II 4GB SDHC card as well. Here’s the official rules You have until November 10, 2008 to upload your video to the SanDisk Point & Shoot Film Festival page on YouTube, so grab your camera and make your moves.
